Get to know Boy T
Boy T is African-Canadian singer-songwriter, member of SOCAN and Musique NB. With a predominantly urban sound, Toyin has no qualms about embracing different musical styles. That's one of the reasons he's called a multidisciplinary artist.
Biography
Bilingual artist whose musical style is mainly urban. Since his early childhood, he had discovered his love for rhythmic dances such as: Salsa, Brake dance, Hiphop, and many others. In early 2002, he began memorizing a few Rap and Hiphop lyrics by American and French artists. From 2003 to 2006, Boy T began performing a number of RnB and American Blues songs during his student years. In mid-2007, Boy T put his musical projects on hold to devote himself to his studies. In early 2016, Boy T rekindled his passion and decided to produce his 1st album "AWAKE" (2020) after performing a number of musical covers. His tracks "Lost" (2020) and "From Love" (2021) gave him a special place in the city of the world's longest covered bridge in New Brunswick (Hartland). Noticed by the Department of Education and Early Childhood Development in February 2022, Boy T and his works were integrated into teachers' curricula as part of Black History. Since then, he has continued to collaborate with music culture lovers of all kinds.
