Nominated for four 2024 Prix MNB Awards, Boy T is an African-Canadian artist who discovered his passion for music at a young age. He began writing lyrics and experimenting with music software in 2002. After a hiatus for studies in Agronomy and Business Management, he returned to music in 2016, blending hip-hop, R&B, pop, and Afro influences.

His debut single “Jealousy” (2018) and the self-produced album "AWAKE" (2020) garnered local attention. Notable tracks like "Lost" and "From Love" helped him gain recognition, and his work was included in Black History curricula in 2022.

Boy T actively engages youth through concerts, including "Oui Francé" and "Black and Motivated." His latest track, "For Better," addresses the housing crisis, showcasing his commitment to social issues through music.
